United Methodist Pumpkin Patch

Emma's school class made a visit to the Church's pumpkin patch. I went to take pictures and now I know why the 2-year-olds do not go on actual field trips! They hold a rope to keep them in line. They couldn't possibly do it without the rope, but every kid came off the rope at some point in the 200 foot journey! They listened to a Halloween story read by one of the church's pastors. Then they picked out their mini-pumpkin and ran around. Back in the classroom, Emma's class used stickers to make their pumpkins into Jack-o-lanterns!

I am sure my child was one of the ones that wouldnt hold on to the rope...and is probably the main reason why 2 year olds dont go on field trips. =)
