Christmas 2009
I hate our camera, so I used Sidney or Jay's all day. The result is that I still need to get the pictures, so all I have are these two. Georgia found Dan's headphones and decided to try them on.
Getting ready to open our stockings.
This Christmas was great. The girls were so excited to open their presents and they were deliriously happy about each one.

Nativity
Every year my family acts out the Nativity on Christmas Eve to help us focus on Christ during the Christmas celebrations.
Here is the whole crew in our costumes. We always take a picture at the end, when everyone is in position. Dan was the narrator so he got to be the camera man with no costume. Georgia wanted to hold baby Jesus so she is sitting in Mary's (my mom) lap.Georgia was a ShepardMy beautiful girlsEmma was our Angel

My solution to keeping Emma's art
Emma loves to do art. They make lots of art at school and she makes her own art at home. This results in every parents dilemma of what art to keep. Of course Emma wants to keep everything. I am a purger and I want to keep as little as possible, but I start feeling bad. My solution...I am taking pictures of Emma with her art. This was I can look back and see what she did and how old she was, without crates of ... art. We took about 100 pictures the first day going through everything I have collected this year. These are my favorite shots.
This is an example of something I really want to keep. Look at her little finger prints! Why does it have to be so big?

Emma's Preschool Christmas Party
Emma was so excited to go to school today for her Christmas Party. Preschool Party roughly translates to sugary snack and a goody bag. It doesn't take much to motivate a 3 year old. She had to wear her "Emma's 2" birthday hat. Her teachers loved it!

I have to say I absolutely love Emma's teachers this year. I am so grateful to everyone who recommended we attend Winder First United Methodist Preschool. It has been a great fit for us and we love it there.
